Hair Styling
We kindly request that any cancellations be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we are happy to waive any charges for your first same-day cancellation. However, for any subsequent occurrences, we will be charging 50% of the service and for No-Shows 100% of the Service and a Deposit to book another Appointment. To avoid any inconvenience, we may ask for your credit card information to hold future reservations.

The stylist are current with trends and provide thoughtful and objective consultations. Manes by Rachel Marie is located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. She sees every service through from shampoo to blow dry. Specializing in cutting and color, Rachel is known for being extremely meticulous in her craft and makes sure to educate her clients on proper care for their hair. My wait time was maybe 3 minutes which is nothing, and everyone was so warm and welcoming.

Krysten relocated to Virginia from the Sacramento Valley in May of 2021 .she’s been in the industry for over 6 years and loves every moment of it! She is very interested in learning new techniques and about new products. A certified specialist for Redken, and also certifications with keratin complex and hotheads. She comes from an award winning salon near Sacramento and together they took home the title of “Best Of” salon of 2020. Her favorite things to do are balayage and coloring, although she loves a challenge with complete make overs.
